CPII’s objectives (as stated in its legal acts)

 

 

  1. To promote the freedom of information and access to legislation
  2. To enhance transparency in governmental decision making
  3. To monitor the law enforcement with regard to access to information and state publications
  4. To provide legal expertise and support to the interested citizens, in cases of arbitrary denial of the constitutional right of information by central and/or local administration.
  5. To induce and to collaborate in drafting policies (governmental and non-governmental ones) to better support the right of information.
  6. To take initiative to release withhold or unjustly denied information to the public and to expose wrong doing procedures by the state institutions.
  7. To organize national and international activities, studies and research with regard to public access on information, political communication during legislative processes, drafting and implementing policies, conducting and implementing national campaigns, market research, prognosis and analysis.
  8. To publish studies, booklets, books, newspapers, which can contribute in the realization of the objectives mentioned above.
